BlogHer 2010: Day Two

Friday morning I was up at 6am, I knew registration for BlogHer opened at 7am and I also remembered that last year the lines were LONG!! So I wanted to get down as fast as I could to get registered. Which really means to pick up my lanyard.

I happened to walk into Tanya, literally so we met with Jen and waited for breakfast!

While getting breakfast I saw Bruce Jenner so of course got a picture with him.

Caryn from Rockin Mama  and I were off to the 9AM Skechers Shape-ups with  Andrea Metcalf.  Caryn and I decided to walk down the Skecher store. There is a story on the event called March of Moms.  Seriously the coolest shoes ever! …feel the burn!

Steph from Bizzie Mommy took some amazing pictures from the Skecher Walk.

Following the Shape-Up walk we headed over to the Warwick hotel where the fabulous Vera Sweeney and Audrey McCelland put together one AMAZING party called Getting Gorgeous at the Warwick Hotel. You can head on over to Nadia’s post and read all about the event and see some awesome pictures. Getting Gorgeous New York City 2010 Brings Fashion, Style & Beauty To BlogHer.  Also, Audrey posted with her awesome Getting Gorgeous recap! At the event, I received a pair of Miraclebody skinny jeans and a neat necklace by Lia Sophia. We also received bags full of amazing swag from each of the companies at the Getting Gorgeous party.

After Getting Gorgeous Caryn and I met up with Steph from Bizzie Mommy where we walked again down 5th Ave and headed to The American Girl Place for lunch. As being apart of The American Girls Parent Partners I had the chance to go for lunch with guests and enjoy lunch.  The store is three stories of a little girls dream come true! I stepped through the revolving doors nd instantly felt like that 10 year old girl wishing and praying for her own doll.

After lunch (you have to set out at east 2 hours dining when you eat at American Girl Place) Caryn, Steph and I caught a cab to the  Unilever PentHOUSE event at the posh Royalton Hotel. WOW!! I am blown away at the amazing party, the foot massage, hand massage, back rubs, food and of course the goodies! Not only did I meet Rosalind Wiseman, the author of Queen Bees and Wannabees who signed a copy  of her book which I can’t Wait to read. I also got a custom blended Vaseline lip gloss made. Which was really cool because the makeup artist asked me a few questions and then told the girl making the lip glosses what to make for me. Which I LOVE! I also did the Piti-cure with Dove and received the most amazing 15 minute hand, arm, back massage ever. I talked with Ali Auerbach, M.S., R.D., the Slim·Fast Registered Dietitian who is awesome, and said to email her anytime I needed for advice! Oh we even got to decorate flip flops! Seriously We were there from 4-7 and I didn’t want to leave!

After the wonderful massages from the Unilever PentHOUSE I headed back over to the Warwick Hotel for the ever so fun Robeez by Stride Rite Launch Party  hosted by Vera Sweeney and Audrey McCelland. I finally got to see Christine from From Dates To Diapers  and her adorable baby bumb! I saw friends, ate some yummy food and loved the coloring pages! I am also in love with the  Pink Lining Daisey Blooming Gorgeous Bag.

After the  Robeez by Stride Rite Launch Party I headed to my hotel room for a hour or so resting and recharge my phone. (Thank you iGo!!!)  I later met up with Casey from  A Couch With a View Lizzy from Lizzy Dears Life and Sarah from Queen Mommy Blog who were at the Mom Central Cocktail Party. So I ran down the street to meet the girls, and saw Tanya and Stacy! I love seeing Stacy, she always makes me laugh! I had a few drinks with Tanya and played with mini colorful monkeys. Then headed out with Sarah, Lizzie and Casey for dinner.

Sarah and I stopped by the EZPZ HP Party hosted by Aiming Low and HP. We said hi to some friends, and I finally got to meet the wonderful Alyson Campbell after working with her for years!

Then the girls and then stopped in at the cutest diner ever called Ellen’s Stardust Diner. Yes, the waitstaff sings!!! Yes, that is our server singing. )I forgot his name)

From dinner the girls and I headed over to the Swanky After Hours Party! We had fun and mingled.

Me & Casey!

After Swanky After Hours I met back up with Tanya and Jen for drinks in the Hotel Lobby! Then around 2am I went to bed…..

That ended day TWO!!!
