A&H Switch & Save Challenge: Tips to Save While doing Laundry

While I anxiously wait for my new washer and dryer to arrive I am still loving doing laundry with my A&H Essentials Fabric Softener Sheets.

As someone who has a chef for a husband and has to wash his clothes daily our water bill is always higher. I do try to wash his clothes every two days if I can, usually by putting them already in the washing machine keeps the smell of his fishy clothes out of the hamper and bathroom.  But if I don’t have a full load I make sure to always set the water at the right setting. Don’t use a full load of water when you need a small load worth.

There are tons of ways to save money doing laundry. I wash everything in cold water, yes even whites since it helps save money. It helps cut your electric bill.

Be sure to always use the right amount of laundry soap for the load size. This will make sure your clothes will be cleaned properly.

And don’t forget to clean the lint trap!!!! I can not even begin to tell you how many times I forget the lint trap and have to set our dryer time TWICE! Of course I don’t understand why the clothes aren’t dry after the first cycle until I check the lint trap.

Another great way to save is to visit the ARM & HAMMER savings center for savings up to $14.00!

Don’t forget to head over to The Switch & Save Challenge to keep up with all of the bloggers and enter to win $25,000.
