A Million Reasons to “Believe” with Macy’s *Giveaway*

Last year I shared about Macy’s Believe Campaign and this year they are at it again! This year, Macy’s is adding to the spirit of “Believe” with a national Santa Tour, an honorary National Believe Day, a “Yes, Virginia ” animated special, and a new TV commercial featuring Queen Latifah.
The nostalgic holiday campaign was inspired by the New York Sun’s famous “Yes, Virginia , there is a Santa Claus” editorial from 1897 and includes letter-writing “Believe Stations” in Macy’s stores across the country. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million.
I think this is a fantastic campaign. But I am wondering… Does someone read all the letters to Santa?
“I did not receive a product for this post. A Gift Card was supplied for giveaway purposes. All opinions are solely my own. Others who may use this product or service may have different opinions.”

ONE winner will receive a $50 dollar Gift Card to Macy’s.

To enter, please visit Macy’s, and in a comment tell us, are you going to have your child join in by sending a letter to Santa?

My child has already written her letter! We plan on taken it to Macy’s on Black Friday.
I just heard this being advertised yesterday and thought it was a nice idea. My son, however, is past the santa stage.
well no matter how old, its nice to drop a letter to santa, and this is a great promotion
I think this is a great cause (a letter = $1 corporate donation), so if I had young children, I probably would encourage them to write a letter for that reason, but I personally don’t like pushing the whole “Santa” thing very much.

I visit Macy’s regularly and will continue to do so. There’s a Macy’s in Stanford Shopping
Center in Palo Alto so it’s convenient for my family. Yes, I’ll help my daughter post her letter
to Santa at Macy’s. It’s a good cause to support.
Thank you for the contest. Happy Thanksgiving.
My daughter will definitely write a letter to Santa
No, my son is now 25 so he gave up writing letters to Santa and no grandkids yet. Maybe I should asked Santa for one??

My daughter is still in her “santa” years so I will def. ask her to write a letter! My son is 12 so he doesn’t believe anymore but, I bet that I could still get him to write one for a good cause.

I don’t know if my friend is going to encourage my God-daughter to write to Santa, although I know she does promote the idea of his existence. Maybe now that she’s in Kindergarten, she might do it this year.
my older kids have thiers ready
this is a neat idea! my daughter is too young right now to join in though.

I think it is a great idea to have a place to take Santa Lettera…
Children always see Santa at department stores and malls, so Macy’s is perfect for children to believe he will get it. Mine also are older, but have written Santa letters when younger.

We actually saw the commercial for this event last night while we were watching one of the movies from the ABCFamily holiday lineup. Because I had read about this before, I could answer my kid’s questions — and *they* decided that we are participating. We usually sent Santa a letter anyway, but this year they’d like to add theirs to the group.

My grands are funny. We have never used the Santa myth. And have told them that it is a fun story that people love but Santa does not fly around the world delivering presents. But year after year a least one wants to send a letter to Santa, I think it is just in case grownups are wrong. And we do let them participate in the myth. So off to Macy’s I will go to deliver Santa’s letter.
My nephew always does a letter to Santa so this is a great idea to bring it to Macys. My sister and I shop on Black Friday so we could do it then.
We will definitely be participating. The kids write letters to Santa every year.
Cute idea…. my boys are a little too young yet!

I’m definetly going to have my kids write letters to Santa and bring them to macy’s to mail. My 10yr old daughter got roller skates for her september birthday and my 6-yr old daughter was so jealous that she suggested we put up the christmas tree that night so santa could bring her a pair. It was too funny! Thanks for the giveaway!
