7 Weeks Pregnant
This past week my midwife got me an RX for Zofran, and OMG it really has helped. It seems I have good days with my nausea and bad days. I know it’s worth it in the end but man does morning sickness (which should be called all day sickness) sucks!
Your Baby in Week 7 of Pregnancy
Your baby is now about the size of a blueberry (and about 10,000 times bigger than he was at conception). Most of that growth is concentrated in the head as new brain cells are generated at the rate of 100 per minute. Your baby’s mouth and tongue are forming as arm and leg buds sprout, and those little kidneys are getting ready to do their job (pee production and excretion.)
Next Thursday we have our first ultra sound (at 8 weeks) and I am nervous, excited for it!
Congratulations, Amanda! I know you are so excited!!!
Woo hoo for a cute little blueberry! I’m so excited to watch you grow!
I have one daughter who is now 6 months pregnant (today) and another who is 3 months (tomorrow) and now I get to follow YOURS as well! So happy for you and thinking about you every day! How exciting to get to see the lil ones heart beating soon! That was always one of the happiest moments for me!
Congrats very exciting!
Congrats! I was on zofran when I was pregnant, it really does work. I was so sick all 9 months, and it helped.
CONGRATS AMANDA! I’m really happy for you & your family! I feel for you with the morning sickness – all day long. I had it with both of my kids. Glad your Dr gave you Zofran & it’s helping you. They didn’t have anything back in my days of pregnancy. The stages of growth of a baby are truly amazing! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
